RESPECT FOR ENERGY RESOURCES IS FUNDAMENTAL TO SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

CERN, the FCC collaboration and its industrial partners are developing superconducting  technologies, both to accelerate particles more efficiently and for use in the detectors that record the outcome of particle collisions. These innovative technologies could also benefit society. Superconductivity can result in an electrical network with higher efficiency, lower energy loss and greater reliability and that is more environmentally friendly. It also allows novel power network solutions to be applied in the network that utilise its matchless advantages.
